This role will work across the organisation, and with external partners, to plan, produce, and manage research events from inception to delivery, archiving and evaluation.

Areas of responsibility

Plan and run the British Library's Doctoral Open Days in collaboration with the Research and Postgraduate Development Manager
Plan and run strategic partnership research events in collaboration with relevant members of the Research Development team
Plan and run internal research development events for Library staff and collaborative doctoral students
Manage research events in person or online, according to the format
Manage rights clearances and permission forms
Continuously improve the quality of research events
Market the Doctoral Open Days by liaising with the marketing/comms teams and external partners
Work with the Research and Postgraduate Development Manager on brand and strategy development of the Doctoral Open Days
Work with strategic partners to improve their experience of jointly-hosted events
Evaluate all events and produce evidence of their impact upon request
Ensure research events are accessible to all relevant audiences
Oversee the archiving of event content where relevant, working with the Library's Digital Engagement tea
