GRIMM seeks a full-time Sales Associate/Associate Director in London. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of an international team in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate has at least three years of previous sales experience within a gallery, auction house or advisory, and brings a wide network of existing contacts to the role. Create and maintain relationships with artists, collectors,
consultants, curators, and other art professionals.
Maintain and further develop the gallery client network, ascertaining the best placement for works by gallery artists.
Inform clients of upcoming exhibitions and fair presentations.
Create sales materials and maintain artist documents, and provide any additional sales support as needed (viewings,
offers, previews), including both written and visual materials.
Represent the gallery and its artists at events, as well as dealing with gallery visitors on a daily basis, functioning as a spokesperson for both the artists' and the gallery's vision.
Assist with the daily operations of the gallery in the
absence of the Director.
Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organisational skills.
Skills in a Mac-based environment, including Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets), and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop), in addition to familiarity with ArtLogic.
A proven track record of prior sales and sales contacts.
