Some experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in events, media, technology or the experience economy.
Motivated by targets and comfortable being measured against them.
Confident on the phone and in writing, and able to open a conversation with someone senior.
Organised and self directed, able to manage a pipeline without being chased.
Accurate with data and disciplined about recording activity.
Genuine interest in the experience economy, from theatre and immersive through to festivals, attractions
and live entertainment.
Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship, tickets or training.
Familiarity with a CRM and with structured pipeline reporting.
An existing network across the live events or ticketing sectorJob Responsibilities
Generate new leads across ticketing technology, marketing platforms, agencies and service providers to the
experience economy.
Keep the top of the sales funnel full, accurately qualified and properly recorded.
Sell exhibition stands, sponsorship, GIEM masterclass places and delegate tickets against agreed targets.
Develop tailored outreach for each vertical rather than sending the same message to everyone.
Manage the full sales cycle on your own accounts, from first contact through to signed contract. (with
training and support)
Build larger opportunities and hand them to the Sales Manager or Sales Director to close where appropriate.
Run delegate ticket campaigns, including group and team bookings.
Report weekly on pipeline, conversion and revenue against target.
Keep the sponsor, exhibitor and delegate database current and accurate.
Support on-site delivery at On Sale Live, including rebooking conversations.Useful Links
