Job Description

The role

It is an exciting time to join Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) as we deliver our strategy to be a charity for everyone. A key part of this is our aspiration to reach every school in the UK. Our Schools Content Team is made up of two areas: Palace Programmes and National Programmes & Outreach.

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Producers responsible for the National Programmes and Outreach work for learners from Early Years to KS5, including SEND and home-educated audiences. You will oversee planning, delivery, communication and budgets while developing inclusive, audience-focused content that is distinctive and impactful.

What we're looking for

As manager your main focus will be the development of our national and outreach programmes, with additional activity at our four London sites and online delivery. Therefore, you will need to be confident and skilled in managing multiple large-scale, complex projects and programmes simultaneously, to time and budget. You will have significant, proven expertise in developing and delivering content for a diversity of school learners across the age range and, ideally, will have also developed and lead content for teacher training. Knowledge of working across a national spectrum, recruiting and engaging schools in the culture, arts/heritage/natural heritage or similar sectors is essential. You will have a proven experience of managing and motivating successful, high achieving teams and establishing an inclusive, collaborative work environment that enables all to achieve.
