At The National Holocaust Museum, we confront these challenges head-on. Our education programmes don’t just teach history — they teach students how to question, think critically, and spot the warning signs of hate. We believe Holocaust education must be as much about the present and future.
Contract: Fixed-term (24 months)
Hours: 22.5 Hours Per week (flexible)
Salary: £27,000 per annum pro rata
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays pro rata
Start Date: September 2025
Reports to: Director of Learning
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing and Engagement
- Develop and deliver marketing campaigns across print, digital, and broadcast media to promote the Museum's educational programmes.
- Increase engagement with our on-site, in-school, and online learning offers.
- Manage marketing activities within an agreed budget.
- Support the strategic aim of building a continuous learning community among schools and students.
Relationship Development
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, and educational organisations.
- Represent the Museum at events, conferences, and networking groups.
- Engage regularly with teachers and students to understand their needs and inform programme development.
Data and Impact
- Maintain accurate records of school engagement to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Work with representative schools to gather insights and measure the impact of our programmes.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the Director of Learning and the education team to ensure alignment with educational goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Museum to deliver a high-quality visitor and learner experience.

Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience-E
