Ceramic / sculpture / object artist requested to create three objects for an interdisciplinary exhibition, following a given concept and draft. The pieces to be created are part of a large project that deals with questions of food, gender and fashion. The work integrates other media - video, fashion and food. Context On-going project, which has alreday been exhibited in Europe and will, now, have a new chapter, with a new exhibition also in Europe in Autum 2025. The artist will be requested to create some objects/sculptures which explore the same language and topics. the work has a very minimalist and animist language, so, it fits someone with a similar language / understanding. Yet, the artist can be a beginner, in terms of experience, as the work is very experimental. So, language, concept and mind set are the most important. - the work is very experimental and is open to suggestion/collaboration between both artists. - Interesting opportunity for a young artist to collaborate in a new project, which seeks to explore new artist languages. Also, interesting to see how object/sculpture communicates with the wider artistic media - video, fashion, etc. Opportunity to picture works of international artists in a relevant art institution in Europe, exploring similar topics. Renumeration: From £150 per day. To be discussed time planning/works. Artistic: - the work follows a minimalist/animist language, thus, it fits someone with the same style/understaning. - good knowledge of sculpture - ceramics, jesmonite, other materials appropriate for the work, to be discussed. Materials to be used in the creation of the objects should allow the application of natural dyes, for example, white ceramic, jasmonite or other to be discussed. Personal - respectful, collaborative mindset and open-minded.
