We are seeking a talented and creative marketing professional to join our team covering maternity leave for a minimum of 6 months.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative marketing professional to join our team covering the maternity leave of one of our team members. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong professional experience of working on arts marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy producing and receiving arts venue, or will have other relevant arts marketing experience. While advanced graphic design skills are desired for this role, we encourage candidates with less experience in this area to apply, if your knowledge and experience of arts marketing is suitably extensive.

Job Requirements

Essential:

  • Two years relevant campaign marketing experience
  • Experience using InDesign and Photoshop in a professional setting
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality printed and digital materials, based on existing assets and within brand guidelines
  • Knowledge of social media strategy and best practice, and ability to manage multiple platforms
  • Experience of email marketing (we use Dotdigital)
  • Experience of paid social media, including Meta ads manager
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Devising & Delivering Marketing Campaigns
  • Liaising with visiting companies bringing commercially focused work to agree and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Devising and implementing marketing campaigns for a number of other visiting productions each season, in liaison with the visiting companies and within the budgets set by the Head of Marketing & Press.
  • Leading on the organisation's social media strategy
  • Leading on devising, delivering and monitoring social media advertising campaigns, keeping up to date on best practice and new features.
  • Creating engaging email marketing campaigns, using targeted customer lists.
  • Buying print and out-of-home advertising.
  • Updating the theatre's website (working in WordPress).
  • Tracking, evaluating and reporting on marketing activity and campaigns.
  1. Graphic Design
  • Designing print and advertising materials based on existing assets.
  • Creating new visuals for Northcott projects and productions based on brief
