We are looking for a Senior Producer to join BAC in the Producing Team.

Working closely with commissioned artists, you will use your established producing skillset to develop their ideas and creative practice, while also providing pastoral and professional support.

The Senior Producer will play a key role in developing and delivering BAC's Creative Development project. You will be integral to building and managing BAC's commissioning and co-producing networks. You will cultivate strong relationships with UK and international partners, and develop and manage new and existing partnerships for commissions and productions.

Job Requirements

- General knowledge of the UK independent theatre industry and networks and conditions of producing new work;
- Good understanding of how to effectively support artists during shows and residencies.;
- A minimum five years' relevant experience of producing for theatre or in a similar live performance context;
- Experience of working closely with artists from concept development to delivery;
- Experience of liaising with various teams and / or partners to deliver projects;
- Experience of developing and working on projects, commissions and co-productions and managing multi-partner relationships.
- Proven success in fundraising particularly ACE Project Grants

Job Responsibilities

- Overseeing strategy for the Creative Development with the Creative Director
- Lead the budget for Creative Development
- Deliver, monitor and evolve the artist experience of collaborating with BAC
- Plan and oversee all residency, commissions and productions from end to end
- Provide feedback, support and ongoing development across the project
- Manage all freelancers associated with Creative Development
- Work with artists to develop commissions and productions, inclusive of the recruitment of artistic collaborators, advising and guiding on fundraising, organising work-in-progress sharings, and developing production schedules to manage delivery of the project activity
- Draw up summary proposals, budgets, schedules or other relevant information, when requested
- Maintain and cultivate partnerships (commissioners, co-producers, project partners) relating to the Creative Development
- Be the point of contact for all BAC teams involved
