Service Assistant, National Trust - Attingham Park

Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, you'll play a core part in delivering fun family activities and fantastic experiences for families this summer. You'll be a friendly face and develop games and activities that ensure each visitor to the Field of Play has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

We'll be welcoming tens of thousands of visitors over the summer holidays and you'll be a key part of the Visitor Experience Team, helping ensure families have a great day out at Attingham.

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 31-Aug-2025

Hours/working pattern/hours: We're a 7 day a week operation, 364 days a year. We're looking for 2 Service Assistants to join the Visitor Experience team who will be working 6 hours a day, 4 days a week with regular weekend working. We expect that you will start your role on week commencing 21st July 2025.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer, you'll be working as part of the Visitor Experience Team of staff and volunteers. Attingham is full of life and locally loved, and you'll be focused on delivering our Summer of Play family programme based at the popular Field of Play. The Summer play hub contains a straw fort, different play zones including football and a pre-schooler's construction zone, and a giant tipi with programmed activities taking place throughout August.

What you'll be doing

This is an outdoor role, and you'll be based in our Field of Play to facilitate visitors enjoying our play hub this summer. From greeting entertainers and volunteers, to running games and activity sessions you'll be key to making sure visitors have an enjoyable time with us.
