Job Description

We are seeking a positive and encouraging self-motivator with a calm demeanour to be a part-time session leader for adults with learning disabilities in an engaging, spirited and ambitious day service that develops their passions, artistic appreciation and soft skills.

Our arts-based sessions are varied, creative, practical and strategically set up to meet the needs of each individual regardless of their level of ability in order to grow in aptitude and appreciation for the subject.

This role has been added to our charity to help build our musical experience for our participants, so while it is NOT essential to be an expert musician, a proficient musical ability is preferred, and any applicant must have a desire to research, explore, lead from the front and participate wholeheartedly.

Previous support work/arts facilitator work is preferred, but training is available for those who want to join our innovative small charity and team, providing participants with a fully accessible programme in a positive and safe environment.
