Key Responsibilities: Develop original set concepts for the Edinburgh Fringe performance, as well as for its trailer. Design a flexible stage environment with easy transport and assembly. Integrate multimedia elements, including projections and interactive components, into spatial design. Translate complex thematic material (AI ethics, transformation, hybrid identities) into evocative visual worlds. Participate in rehearsals, adapt designs based on movement/staging, and supervise set construction and installation. The fixed payment for the entire job is £600 (at this stage, the project has limited resources due to being self-funded, but a valuable chance to gain experience and be part of an exciting original production and EdFringe!). Accommodation in Edinburgh will be provided, and travel expenses within the UK to the city will be covered. The expected workload for this role is approximately 40-50 hours in total, distributed over several months of collaboration. This includes concept development, trailer and main set design, design iteration and coordination, technical planning for transport and assembly, and rehearsal-based adaptations. The project is being developed in close collaboration with the director and other creatives, and flexibility in schedule is possible.
