An award-winning producer and promoter of live comedy seeks a highly motivated, dedicated individual to join their Marketing department.
Show And Tell produce live comedy throughout the UK & North America, with artists including Nina Conti, Ramy Youssef, Mae Martin, Romesh Ranganathan, Ashley Gavin, Simon Amstell, Austentatious, Vittorio Angelone, Jacqueline Novak, Dara O Briain, Nish Kumar, Janine Harouni, Mary Beth Barone & Benito Skinner, Wanda Sykes, Aunty Donna, Nataly Aukar, Jerrod Carmichael, Tim Key, Simon Munnery and many more. Our current work spans high-profile tours in major venues across multiple countries, ongoing West End productions, our London comedy festival (Peckham Playground) and London line-up show (Live at the Empire). The Social Media and Marketing Officer will be working across a wide range of the company's productions, and will report to the Marketing Manager, Senior Producer and Managing Director. They will be leading on strategy and delivery of the ongoing Social Media activity for the company, alongside assisting and working closely with the Marketing Manager on the company's marketing activity. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate a passionate and experience-based strategic vision for the power of Social Media in both promoting live comedy shows and bringing fans closer to the live experience. The role is integral to the company's success, and industry leading approach to Social Media and Marketing show promotion. The successful candidate should be looking to bring their accumulated experience to the company, while gaining significant further skill and experience. The role allows for close creative collaboration with both the rest of the dynamic team and with many of the talented artists the company has projects with. Salary: £31,500 per annum pro rata. Full-time role, 40 hours per week, plus occasional evening show attendance required. Working hours: 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid of office and work-from-home days each week. Location: London office (SE1) Starting May 2026, or as soon as is possible.
ESSENTIAL A passion for live comedy, social media and marketing Minimum 4 years' experience within a marketing and/or social media position An understanding of the UK comedy scene; the comedians, venues and key events A strong understanding of social media platforms, current trends and best practices Video editing skills Demonstrable experience with Adobe / Canva / Figma or equivalents Copywriting experience, understanding brand voice, style and audience engagement Social media management experience Excellent IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google products Strong organizational skills and a natural attention to detail Ability to manage a wide range of tasks and meet deadlines A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines DESIRED Artwork editing and composition skills Some experience handling print orders and distribution Some experience with paid for online ads, Meta, Google
Creating, scheduling and posting social media content that meets the company's aims and strategies Video editing, graphic design and content creation Community management and fostering, across social media and websites Building and launching promotional emails, and optimizing customer data segments Liaising with venues on collaborative social media campaigns Daily upkeep of the company website, and associated artist's websites Publishing and updating event listings online Managing print orders and print distribution requirements Building and optimizing Meta ads and Google ads with provided marketing budgets Tracking and compiling weekly sales reports, reporting internally and externally Staying up-to-date on UK live comedy industry events and developments Supporting the aims and objectives of Show And Tell internally and externally
