Hey neighbours! After a recent successful ACE funding application, we are on the lookout for a Social Media Coordinator to spread the joy and grow our social media platforms.

Next Door Dance- Social media coordinator

Location: Nottingham/ UK wide/ Remote

Fee: £1800 (equivalent to £180 pd x 10 days or 20 half days)

Application closes: 15th May

Interviews: 24th May 2024 (in person or online)

Role start date: June 2024

As our Social Media Coordinator, your role and responsibilities will be to…

  • Craft engaging posts that showcase our projects, workshops & classes, and news.
  • Connect with our incredible community & grow our reach and engagement.
  • Elevate our online presence & increase our visibility.
  • Curate eye-catching content to make our social media pages pop with energy.
  • Align with new emerging trends to keep our social media presence consistently relevant.
  • Create social media plan/schedule to reflect NDD's activity.
  • Have regular check-ins with NDD's directors & report back on social media engagement.
  • Personable and friendly to reflect NDD's personality.

Job Responsibilities

Skills

Essential

  • Experience of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & X
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good at multitasking and prioritising
  • Excellent time management
  • Self-motivated
  • Creative initiative for social media posts

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Google Drive
  • A dance background is not required however, an interest in dance, theatre, and community work is desired.
