The show has a band of two - usually keyboards and drums. Generally, we do not work with backing tracks or click tracks, and all music is played live from onstage positions. Sound levels to be set in consultation between Sound Designer, Director, Composer and MD. The show has a cast of six adult principles, 2 ensemble understudies and three teams of four children. We do not have a live sound operator for the run, so levels need to be preset using Qlab and/or our digital desk. In addition, there will be a smaller element of sound design creation, including some at most and a few sound effect cues. General rehearsals begin Mon October 27th.
