Seeking a stage manager for the upcoming remount of The Shivers at Polka Theatre this March and April. The Shivers is an acclaimed theatre show for young people aged 7-11, remounting in 2026 at the Polka Theatre. Originally devised by the company with directors emma + pj (Scenes from a Repatriation, Royal Court), the show is a twisty-turny spy thriller with live green screen, explosive dance moves, and a multi-rolling ensemble cast of unforgettable characters. Having previously toured to over 25 schools across London, The Shivers is now heading to theatres for its biggest mission yet. Seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and energetic stage manager for an upcoming remount of a theatre show for young audiences. Requirements include: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, able to troubleshoot basic technical systems, experienced with small team and ensemble-based environments, and comfortable with young audiences. Must be London based. Clean driving license and experience driving small vans preferred (but not required).
