Stepping Up Facilitator, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

We're looking for an empathetic and confident Learning Support Assistant to join our Stepping Up team. The Learning Support will be skilled at putting in place packages of support for specific learners and have an understanding of the performing arts. They will attend all delivery sessions and offer 1-2-1 support outside of session hours, once a week, during the running of the course. Stepping Up is a 3-month programme, expanding on our focused inclusion work at the National Youth Theatre, with d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodiverse young people. For those who experience challenging life circumstances Stepping Up is often their first point of contact with the organisation and indeed within the arts and theatre sector.

This is a part-time freelance position for 4 months. Delivery will usually take place over 3 days each week. This contract runs from 10th February 2025 - 19th May 2025.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Stepping Up Lead Facilitator(s)

FEE:
Daily rate is £125 per day for admin days (18 Days in total)/ £150 per day for delivery days (25 Days in total)

• 1 training day
• 2 Days course set up
• 25 Days delivery support: 10:00am - 8:30pm. Usually 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday or Tuesday & Wednesday)
• 13 Days 1:1 support & access admin (1 day a week on non-delivery days)
• 2 Days 1:1 Support and access admin at end of course delivery
