Job Description

This is a fast-paced, multifaceted role at the heart of White Cube's global secondary market programme. The Stock Liaison plays a vital role in coordinating inventory positioning, supporting acquisition workflows, and ensuring data-driven execution across sales channels and exhibitions.

The successful candidate will bring demonstrable experience in a commercial art world setting, along with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. They'll be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, comfortable working with data, and adept at working across internal systems and structured workflows to support commercial outcomes.

Working cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Artist Liaison, Legal, Finance, and Research, the postholder will also support the execution of stock sourcing projects in close collaboration with the Object Intelligence Researcher and Strategy Director.

Data, Reporting & Strategic Insight

  • Manage the stock data environment for the Secondary Market team, ensuring the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and strategic utility of inventory and acquisition records.

  • Together with the Senior Business Analyst, develop and maintain reporting dashboards and performance trackers that support inventory oversight, pricing decisions, and acquisition planning.

  • Prepare bespoke reports and stock presentations for senior stakeholders, including quarterly stock meetings and strategic planning sessions.

  • Work collaboratively with the Market Analyst to analyse historic acquisitions and sales to surface trends, benchmarks, and gaps; share findings in a clear, commercially relevant format.

  • Collaborate with the Strategy Director to model different release strategies and identify opportunities to optimise stock usage.

  • Partner with Finance, Research, and Operations to ensure that commercial, contractual, and financial information is robustly recorded and consistently interpreted across systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior colleagues across multiple departments.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with the ability to maintain clarity and momentum under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and formulas essential); familiarity with Airtable, Salesforce, or other CRM/inventory tools preferred.

  • Working knowledge of AML/CDD compliance and VAT frameworks in a private sales context advantageous.
