Job Description
Fluid Motion (FM) is an award-winning arts and health charity based at our Creative Hub in Totton. We run an innovative creative programme all year round, aimed at supporting the mental health and wellbeing of people within our community.
We are looking for a warm, creative and engaging storyteller to lead fun and imaginative Storytime sessions for children under 5 and their parents/carers at our Creative Hub.Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Storytime sessions for children aged 0-5 and their adults
- Bring stories to life through voice, movement, props, puppets and music
Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for families
Encourage participation, imagination and interaction
Help children develop confidence, communication and a love of stories and creativity
Planning of each session and sourcing of costumes/props if needed (additional budget)
Set up and tidy away session materials
Work alongside staff and volunteers to support a positive experience for all attendees
Occasional walk about promotion in the high street with the Community Engagement Manager
Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all timesHow to Apply
