Strategic Development Lead: Hackney Carnival, Hackney Council

Hackney Council are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a time-limited role focused on the strategic development of Hackney Carnival. This role involves two key research and recommendation based elements:

1. Developing a 'Trust' or similar model for Hackney Carnival.

2. Creating a Carnival 'Hub' (venue/space).

This role will be best suited to those that have significant experience of Carnival and/or business development strategies. If you do not have relevant experience in one of these fields you must be able to demonstrate how you will work collaboratively with partners to include these areas of expertise and knowledge.

The closing date for applications is **10:00 AM on Monday, August 18th**. We aim to have the selected candidate begin work on this project by September, with the project concluding by April 2026. The maximum value for this contract is £12,000 - bidders will be asked to submit their fee and budget for the outlined work.
