About the Role

As Student Recruitment Lead, you will deliver and oversee student recruitment strategies and activity plans at campus level. The role is central to achieving our undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment targets, ensuring that all activity remains student-focused and aligned with institutional priorities. You'll be responsible for guiding the student journey from first contact through to enrolment, using data and collaboration to inform and improve outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and deliver activity schedules designed to meet the student recruitment targets for your campus and region.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing Student Recruitment team, driving them to achieve campus-specific targets and KPIs.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Collect, evaluate, and share performance data for recruitment initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions teams to create a seamless applicant experience, ensuring alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Design and oversee targeted activities and events, ensuring they actively engage under-represented groups and promote accessibility to higher education.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of the education market to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance BIMM's position as a top-choice institution.
  • Budget Management: Exercise efficient budgetary control over all recruitment activities to ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience and Expertise: Proven experience in a higher education student recruitment role, with a deep understanding of the student recruitment lifecycle, from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate recruitment strategies that respond to market trends and drive results.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing and motivating teams to achieve performance goals, with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and improvements.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technological Proficiency: Competency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), as well as familiarity with social media for promotional purposes.
