We are seeking a Studio Assistant to support the technical, administrative, and production needs of the studio. This role is essential in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the studio and supporting the creation and delivery of new works. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for exhibitions, galleries, and installations. This role requires a well-rounded creative professional who is comfortable working across technical, practical, and administrative tasks. From assisting with photography of artwork to preparing presentation documents, the Studio Assistant will be involved at various stages of the production process. This is a freelance role, working 21 hours per week across three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 10:00-18:00, with a 60-minute unpaid break each day). There may be occasional flexibility required to meet the needs of the business, including additional or variable hours. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. Our ideal candidate will have: A background in arts, architecture design, or a related field. Keen eye for artwork photography Professional level proficiency in Adobe Software (including Photoshop and InDesign) essential Video-editing capabilities (using PremierPro) is desirable Proficiency in design software (e.g. Rhino, Blender, AutoCad, or similar) is essential Proficient in creating polished presentations and comprehensive reports. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility and adaptability to support colleagues during busy periods and project deadlines. Key Responsibilities Create 3D models and 2D plans, simulations and renders following the guidance of the artist. Create professional PDF presentations for studio projects. Prepare and maintain project and artwork documentation, presentations and reports. Provide support for the production of drawings, presentations, and design materials for exhibitions and projects as required. Photograph artworks and maintain archives. Support the team with administrative and operational tasks, including cross-departmental duties as needed. Liaise with suppliers and team members to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.
