We’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Support Staff with classroom experience who can assist with workshops and arts-based activities. You’ll work alongside our main practitioners, helping to facilitate engaging and educational workshops for children of all ages.

The Role:
We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Support Staff with classroom experience who can assist with workshops and arts-based activities. You'll work alongside our main practitioners, helping to facilitate engaging and educational workshops for children of all ages. While experience with early years is a plus, we're also looking for team members who can support our 6-11-year-old campers.
What We're Looking For:
- Classroom experience or previous experience supporting workshops with children.
- Passion for the arts and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Experience with early years is an advantage, but we welcome those who can bring energy and support to our older campers too.
- Safeguarding and First Aid certificates are highly advantageous (we offer training for the right candidates).
- DBS Update Service is required; we can arrange a DBS check if you don't have one or if yours is out of date.
- Ability to drive is a plus, as we have multiple sites across Leeds and Yorkshire.
- Hardworking, fun-loving, and reliable, with a commitment to maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children.

Safeguarding Awareness and Commitment
Assisting with Lunchtime Supervision
- Help organize and supervise lunchtime, ensuring children are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their meals.
- Assist with setting up the classroom each day, preparing materials, equipment, and a welcoming space for children.
- Help clean and organize the classroom at the end of the day, ensuring it's tidy, sanitized, and ready for the next session.
- Prioritize child safety at all times, adhering to safeguarding procedures and being alert to any potential issues.
- ssist with end-of-day tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and storing materials, as well as tidying up shared areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure the classroom and activity spaces are fully cleaned and reset, ready for the next day.
- Work closely with the Art Camp team, communicating effectively and supporting one another to ensure smooth daily operations.
