In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our Step Youth Companies (SYNC). You will manage the day-to-day operations of the companies, working directly with talented young dancers to ensure they have an enriching, safe, and professional experience. From planning weekly schedules and booking guest artists to managing performances and leading technique sessions, you will be at the heart of our artistic vision. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong background in dance and experience working with young people. You should have: Contract & Working Hours This is a part-time position working 14 hours per week. Because our dancers are at the centre of what we do, this role requires the post holder to be consistently onsite at RAD HQ on Sundays during term time. The role is offered on a fixed term contract ending on 31 July 2027, with a review at the end of this period based on funding and project status. Due to the nature of the performance calendar, a degree of flexibility is required to work occasional evenings and weekends to support rehearsals and events. Why work for us? Job Responsibilities
- Artistic Support: Deliver the first hour of weekly sessions focusing on technique and conditioning, and act as a bridge between choreographers and dancers.
- Event Coordination: Work with our Events Manager to secure and manage performance opportunities.
- Administration: Manage dancer onboarding, communications with parents, fee collection, and attendance records.
- Budgeting: Monitor project budgets, process invoices, and assist with funding reports and bids for the Jack Petchey Foundation.
- Safeguarding: Act as a chaperone and ensure all activities adhere to strict health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.How to Apply
