The Actors’ Church hosts and supports a over 700 annual events. The core purpose of the role is to manage all the technical aspects of the church’s system, including sound, lighting, video streaming and production management.

Job Description

St Paul's Church is recruiting a Technical Manager to join our diverse and growing events team and support in this crucial production and operational role. It provides an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career, wanting to work in a unique heritage space with an eclectic mix of events.

The purpose of this role is to manage all the technical aspects of the church's system, including (but not limited to) sound, lighting, video streaming and production management. It will require the applicant to be able to turn their hand to a variety of different tasks, and a willingness to interpret and support the different clients that come through our doors.

Location: St Paul's Church, Bedford Street, WC2E 9ED

Type: Permanent, full-time contract with an initial three-month probationary period

Salary: £32,000.00 - £35,000.00 Hours: 35hrs per week, including evenings and weekends based on shift patterns. Additional hours or calls may be required determined by the need of the business.

The Actors' Church hosts and supports a busy, eclectic, and exciting kaleidoscope of concerts and events, ranging from more traditional weddings and memorial services, through to charity fundraisers, theatrical performances and corporate events. This new role provides the opportunity to join a small, friendly, and fun events team which is responsible for delivering over 700 events a year.
