Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield are excited to be looking for a talented teacher to take on established Drama classes as maternity cover for our Seniors & Further Seniors classes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a natural affinity with children, a drive to develop our students and a passion for teaching a nurturing environment. Successful candidates will be overflowing with energy, able to provide exciting and engaging Drama lessons and will have a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers. They will also be organised, good communicators and great team players.

About Razzamataz
We are an award winning theatre school providing training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles to children aged 2-18 years. We aim to develop a child's confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment.

Our classes run on Saturdays during term time with the potential of overtime to cover various other classes. The position is to take on maternity cover for our Seniors (ages 12-14) and Further Seniors (ages 14-18) from the end of October and the successful candidate will be available to shadow our current teacher from September.

Classes are held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield S8 8BR. Our school runs from 9-4.30pm on a Saturday and hours for this position are 3 hours between 1.30-4.30pm with the strong possibility of extra hours in the future. Experience of Drama is necessary and experience working with children is desirable.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory "Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check". Pay is determined by experience but is between £15.00-£30.00 / hour.
