Theatre@41 is seeking an organised and pro-active part time Theatre Administrator to work flexibly across the year supporting the day-to-day operations of the theatre.
Salary: ÂŁ13.45 an hour Hours: Part time (364 hours per year, averaging 7 hours per week) You will be a key point of contact for hirers and volunteers, ensuring the smooth administration of our theatre and its diverse programming. This role offers high flexibility, with 364 hours allocated across the year to meet the needs of the theatre's schedule. Key Responsibilities: Handling all room bookings and venue scheduling. Responding promptly and professionally to theatre hire requests. Managing box office requests and coordinating with visiting companies for ticketing. Managing volunteer rotas to ensure performances and events are safely and effectively staffed. Acting as a primary point of contact for general enquiries via email and phone. Liaising with the theatre manager, technical and stage management teams to coordinate venue access. Assisting with basic financial administration related to theatre hires and invoicing. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring the efficient running of the theatre office. Notes: Theatre@41 changes all the time, and the above responsibilities are only indicative of the full requirements of the role. Other tasks may be required in agreement with the post holder and the Theatre Manager. The Ideal Candidate: You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a creative environment and possesses a calm, professional approach. Proven experience in administration or customer-facing roles, ideally within the arts. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload. Excellent IT literacy, including experience with booking systems or spreadsheets. Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of a busy theatre schedule.
