As Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for the technical operation, maintenance and development of the College's performance and event spaces. Knowledge of theatre lighting systems and lighting control.
Experience rigging, focusing and operating lighting equipment.
Experience operating and maintaining sound systems.
A good understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with pupils, colleagues and contractors.
Flexibility to support evening and occasional weekend events.
Experience in set construction and scenic installation.

Plan, rig, focus and programme lighting systems.
Operate and maintain sound equipment for productions and events.
Support rehearsals, performances and live events.
Supervise and mentor student technical crews.
Deliver technical support for concerts, assemblies, presentations, Open Days and admissions events.
Construct, install and remove staging, scenery and production elements.
Manage technical stores, equipment inventories and maintenance schedules.
Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
