Job Summary

We seek a new Towards Bowes 2092 Project Administrator to help kickstart an innovative transformation by helping to coordinate the two-year fixed term ‘Towards Bowes 2092’ project.

Job Description

This two-year fixed-term role will support the Towards Bowes 2092 Project Manager and Director of Partnerships and Communications in project delivery. This role is part-time.

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter, able to work on your own initiative and collaborate with others. You will be responsible, among other things, for coordinating project activities, maintaining and updating the project schedule, managing assignments, arranging meetings, monitoring progress and communicating with the broader project team. You will have strong organisational skills and be an effective communicator.

Job Requirements

Role Purpose

  • To support the delivery of the museum's 'Towards Bowes 2092' project, ensure the museum fulfils its grantee obligations and always remains compliant.

  • To provide administrative support for the 'Towards Bowes 2092' project.

  • Coordinate reports to the Directors, Board of Trustees, committees, funders, and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help the Towards Bowes 2092 Project Manager and Director of Partnerships and Engagement with administrative duties and processes for Towards Bowes 2092 project, coordinating with the Executive Assistant.

  • Schedule meetings and keep minutes.

  • Break down the project into doable tasks and estimate the duration.

  • Assist with planning and workflow from start to finish of the project.

  • Order resources.

  • Track expenditures and work on the budget forecast.

  • Act as point of contact for the project team.

  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

  • Support the Towards Bowes 2092 Project Manager with preparing the project monitoring and evaluation reports (quarterly and final).
