Job Description
1. Project Governance & Coordination
Establish and coordinate the Project Steering Group, including preparation of Terms of Reference and scheduling meetings.
Provide regular progress updates to Co-CEOs, Trustees, partners, and funders.
Develop and manage detailed work plans reflecting the phases in the Excel project timetable.
Ensure alignment between all project strands-masterplanning, community engagement, fundraising, and learning.
2. Consultant & Contractor Management
Lead procurement for masterplanning consultants, including drafting briefs, managing tenders, and contracting.
Oversee consultant delivery across masterplanning phases:
review of previous decade's strategic work development of first-phase scenarios refinement following community consultation.

3. Strategic Development
Coordinate research into capital-project funders, including major trusts and foundations (e.g., Garfield Weston, Wolfson Foundation, Pilgrim Trust, Swire Foundation).
Support development of the Fundraising Strategy, working with Development Manager and consultants where appropriate.
Contribute to drafting funding applications for identified priority capital and engagement projects.
Support the development of business planning in relation to capital projects.
4. Planning, Risk Management & Administration
Maintain the Project Risk Register from the Excel file, updating mitigations regularly.
Manage project budgets, cashflow, consultant costs, and expenditure tracking.
Ensure all procurement follows charity and funder requirements.
Maintain documentation, timetable updates, meeting notes, and reporting files.
Provide regular reports to Steering Groups and stakeholders as required including final evaluation reportsJob Requirements
