Job Description

Our Concierge Team assists a thoughtfully curated onsite experience for the full spectrum of VIP guests, including but not limited to large groups, celebrities, influencers, and our Luxe Seat ticket holders. Anticipating each group's unique needs to create a truly personal and memorable evening is the goal!

Our Concierge Team also coordinates special events within the Hippodrome and across our three venues: Permission Bar, Archive & Myth, and the Magic Mike Live Theatre.

This role is based at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square, London and liaises with the entire company - from the guests to the guys and from Front of House management to back of house staff.

Premium-level customer service is at the core of this position. The ability to remain composed, troubleshoot efficiently and communicate effectively are imperative to this role.

Responsible to: Customer Experience Manager

Hours: 40 hours a week including evenings and weekends

Salary: £675 per week

Contract: 12-month fixed term

Job Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google Suite, Apple products
  • Excellent communication over the phone, in person and through email
  • Impeccable use of English syntax, spelling, and grammar
  • Comfortable remaining professional but approachable while engaging with a diverse audience, including celebrities, influencers, investors, and friends of the show.
  • Takes initiative, troubleshoots, and remains calm under pressure.
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to prioritise, carefully balancing the needs of the business with customer care.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous theatre-venue experience e.g. Front of house.
  • Previous concierge/VIP hosting/hospitality experience
  • A passion for the arts, including West End theatre.

Show schedule:

Monday/Tuesday: OFF (Dark)
Wednesdays: 7pm show
Thursday/Friday: 7pm and 9.30pm show
Saturday: 4pm, 7pm and 9.30pm show
Sunday: 4pm and 7pm

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Post-booking/pre-show customer service admin including emails, texts, and/or phone calls.
  • Pre-show preparation for the guest and/or venue
  • Greet Luxe Seat guests at the venue, escort them to their seats and attend to them throughout the night.
  • Ensure all Luxe Seat package inclusions are promptly timed and served.
  • Remain present and visible throughout the show to assist guests, as needed.
  • Facilitate the meet and greet, ensuring the event runs on time and that all guests are present and accounted for

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with large groups (10+), celebrity guests and any special events within the theatre, Permission Lounge, Archive & Myth cocktail bar and Hippodrome spaces, as needed.
  • Constructing and maintaining inventory for guest collateral including, but not limited to, lanyards, laminates, and drink tickets, etc.
  • Other duties as described.
