In this role, you'll ensure that every visitor enjoys a memorable and inspiring experience. From welcoming guests, running the visitor offer and overseeing public programme events, to supporting volunteer teams and acting as Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our visitor offer. We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and has a genuine love of heritage sites. What you'll do Deliver a warm and engaging welcome to every visitor. Oversee the smooth daily running of the visitor operation. Act as Duty Manager, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service. Support, motivate, and lead volunteer teams. Assist with the organisation and delivery of public programme events. What we're looking for Proven face-to-face customer service experience with a proactive and positive approach. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with people. Confidence with IT systems and a willingness to learn new ones. Experience with EPOS/ticketing systems, retail, or cash handling (desirable but not essential) What we offer This is a unique opportunity to become part of Stowe's 300-year history and help share its stories with a wide range of audiences.
