Job Summary

We are looking for a visual artist who can work with us to create images representing Speech Bubbles for our website and marketing materials.

We're excited to share this opportunity to work with Speech Bubbles CIO, a charity that uses drama in primary schools to support children's communication, confidence and social interaction.

We are currently refreshing our website and marketing materials and are seeking a visual artist who can help us convey the joyful, playful nature of the Speech Bubbles programme-while reflecting the thoughtful, evidence-informed approach that underpins our work.

This is a freelance contract with an inclusive fee of £2,500.
Work is to be completed Mid October-December 2025.

Deadline for applications is: 25th September 2025

Job Requirements

Speech Bubbles CIO is a charity working in primary schools using drama to support children's communication, confidence and social interaction.

We are refreshing our website and marketing materials to develop a visual style that:

  • Captures the joyful nature of the project
  • Conveys the rigorousness of our evidence-based approach
  • Appeals to our key audiences: schools, parents/carers, and children

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a visual artist who can:

  • Provide a collection of approximately 20 images for use across our website, social media, and publications
  • Create a cartoon strip or storyboard that depicts the project in action
  • Provide work that complements and extends the current Speech Bubbles aesthetic
