The Volunteer & Events Coordinator is a newly created role that is being introduced as the Trust rolls out its 5-year strategic plan. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the Trust's programme of events, acting as the main point of contact for our groups of volunteers and playing a critical role in coordinating the wide range of activities delivered under the Cathedral Music Trust banner. The role will help to ensure that volunteering for the Trust is a fulfilling and worthwhile experience, providing support and opportunities for our volunteers to gain and develop skills and meet other cathedral music advocates. Working with Development Director, the post holder will also support the wider work of the Development team including stewardship of our Friends & Patrons programme. For this role, you will need to be a good people person, able to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders and proactively seek out ways of supporting our busy programme of events. We are looking for someone who is organised and able to juggle multiple priorities. You will be confident and able to contribute imaginative ideas that support the Trust's mission of transforming lives through the power of cathedral music. If you have an enthusiasm for sacred choral and organ music and believe you have the skills to be part of our dynamic team, we would like to hear from you. The Volunteer & Events Coordinator will work remotely as part of a small team, so it is essential that you are self-motivated and able to use your own initiative. Some travel will be expected to attend events and in-person meetings. The Trust is committed to each team member's professional development and this role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in arts management. Hours: Between 22.5 - 30 hours per week (0.6-0.8 FTE). Flexible working options can be considered and negotiated by mutual agreement Complete our online Application FormJob Summary
