WANTED: Community theatre practitioners with extensive devising experience, Islington Peoples Theatre Cic

https://islingtonpeoplestheatre.co.uk/ - Islington People's Theatre is looking for community theatre practitioners who have extensive experience with in working with devising processes with community groups for co-created work. Preference is for applied theatre trained facilitators.

I'm looking for practitioners who are completely confident in taking the lead with a mid-size weekly group (10- 15 participants) to lead them through a range of devising methods to generate raw material.

This call out is for IPT's next block of one of it's current projects, https://islingtonpeoplestheatre.co.uk/blog/ - BE THE CHANGE, which takes place every Thursday evening, for two hours a week, from 6.30 - 8.30 pm over a ten week period.

The project engages adults looking to sustain recovery and mental health through engaging with their creativity, as well as adults who have experienced homelessness or who are currently vulnerably housed.

Dates for the next block are Thursday October 9th to Thursday December 11th 2025.

Experienced practitioners only please!

This is paid work at 125.00 for two hours (includes planning)

Facilitators must also have an updated Enhanced DBS check.
