Job Summary

Rodeo Productions are looking for a Wardrobe Assistant to work on the UK tour of Operation Mincemeat. Still enjoying a phenomenal run in London’s West End, Operation Mincemeat is now also on its first national tour and has an exciting opening as within the Wardrobe team.

Job Description

The Wardrobe Assistant will work closely with the Head of Wardrobe, Deputy Head of Wardrobe, and dressers, in establishing and executing the needs of the production.

The ideal candidate will have experience of touring and opening large-scale theatre shows, ideally musicals.

The Wardrobe Assistant is responsible for performing their plot/track for the show, supporting the rest of the Wardrobe team as required, and preparing all costumes to be clean and well maintained in assisting with the smooth running of the Wardrobe department. They will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the show; acquire a familiarity with all plots/tracks within the department to provide holiday or absence cover for other members of the department as required.

Start date: Rehearsals begin w/c 12th January 2026 (however, we may require the successful candidate to be available prior to this for prep).

End date: Saturday 28th November 2026

Job Requirements

Essential skills include:

  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Wardrobe Assistant tracks in a busy musical setting
  • Strong ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
