Crossroads Live are seeking a Wardrobe Deputy for the UK and Ireland touring production of Waitress. Touring from March 2026 to January 2027.

Job Description

The Deputy Wardrobe assists the Head of Wardrobe with the preparation and maintenance of all costuming and the smooth running of the wardrobe department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To assist with all aspects of the planning, supervision and maintenance of all costumes in each venue.
  2. To assist in the preparation and update the costume bible.
  3. To assist with the supervision of the touring wardrobe and local venue casual staff.
  4. Dressing for cast members as required.
  5. To ensure all costumes are cleaned daily and in working order for each performance.
  6. To assists Head of Wardrobe regarding daily cast changes and prepare costumes changes accordingly.
  7. To assist the Head of Wardrobe in ensuring all equipment is unpacked and prepared at each venue of the tour.
  8. To assist the Head of Wardrobe in coordinating the get-out of wardrobe equipment at each venue, and in preparing equipment ready for loading at the end of the run.
  9. Attend production meetings, rehearsals, calls and performances as required.
  10. Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company.
  11. Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
