Job Summary

Harrow Arts Centre are seeking suitably experienced consultants to work with the arts centre team to produce a wayfinding strategy and information schedule to improve the customer experience on site.

Job Description

Harrow Arts Centre (HAC) is the only multi-artform venue in Harrow - a cultural hub that inspires, creates & celebrates the arts in an accessible environment.

The arts centre site is comprised of a mixture of historic buildings, new builds and portacabins. The site has been converted from a school and has undergone several iterations and management companies throughout its history. This has led to a lack of consistency with the wayfinding on site with ad hoc signage added as and when.

We are seeking suitably experienced consultants to work with the arts centre team to produce a wayfinding strategy and information schedule to improve the customer experience on site:

Contract Value - up to £6,000 + VAT (estimated 100 hours)

  • Maximise the centres corporate image through strong branding and clear wayfinding that will be best be suited to the site both now and into the future.
  • Provide a clear and effective understanding of how the site is structured to first time and unfamiliar users through the development of an intuitive wayfinding information hierarchy.
  • Deliver a signage and information strategy capable of communicating the information hierarchy effectively with the least number of signs, ensuring delivery of the right information in the right place at the right time.
  • Improve the visitors experience by standardising as much of the process as possible.
  • Focus on the full customer experience, including tickets, web-based information and all other site correspondence used in journey planning, to ensure a comprehensive and holistic solution is reached.
