We are seeking to appoint a WELLBEING ADMINISTRATOR on a full-time, one year contract with the potential for renewal.

Job Description

WELLBEING IN THE ARTS provides mental health and wellbeing services to the creative industries by offering access to counselling, coaching, wellbeing practitioners, workshops, mental health first aid training, and much more. http://www.wellbeinginthearts.org.uk/ - www.wellbeinginthearts.org.uk.

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) supports organisations large and small across the UK and Europe, whilst specialised Wellbeing Practitioners are able to look after theatre, film and TV productions, live events and festivals.

Individuals can also self-refer into our service and access our diverse team of over 125 student and experienced BACP or UKCP registered Counsellors, Coaches and Artist Supervisors, all of whom have a knowledge and understanding of the unique challenges of working in our industry.

We are seeking to appoint a WELLBEING ADMINISTRATOR on a full-time, one year contract with the potential for renewal.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a ground-breaking company in the creative industries.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday 14th February 2025.

If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an online interview with Adam, Founder & CEO of Wellbeing in the Arts.

Interview questions will be sent out in advance.

First interviews will take place in the w/c Monday 24th February 2025.

Job Requirements

Duties

  • manage the provision of mental health and wellbeing support to people who work in the creative industries
  • administer the support inbox and answer calls made to the telephone helpline and messages sent to the what's app / text number
  • help to co-ordinate wellbeing practitioners who will be providing support to organisations and productions across the UK
  • support the delivery of mental health first aid training courses, workshops, talks and events
  • create reports on service usage, client feedback, etc
  • liaise with external partner organisations
  • advocate and represent Wellbeing in the Arts
  • undertake other ad hoc duties including providing occasional administrative support to the CEO, research projects, assist with the recruitment of new staff, distribution of printed materials etc.

Job Responsibilities

Person specification

  • An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health support to the creative industries
  • Experience of the creative industries, and delivering mental health and wellbeing support
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to think ahead and take initiative
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft office, Apple software and emails
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation
  • Able to manage highly confidential and personal data
  • Has a non-judgmental attitude to mental health issues
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A fast learner who is flexible, reliable and trustworthy

Further information

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • One-year contract, with the potential for renewal during the twelve-months
  • Probationary period of three months
  • Remote / hybrid working is available, but client must be able to visit London at least once per week
