Job Summary

Deafinitely Theatre is looking for a Wellbeing Facilitator to support our BSL in Performance short course, delivered at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama this summer.

Organisation: Deafinitely Theatre, in partnership with the Royal Central School of Speech and
Drama

Reports to: Deafinitely Theatre's Senior Management team
Works closely with: Course tutors, Central staff, access professionals and freelance creatives

Contract: Fixed term, freelancer
Time commitment: Approx. 16 days total (with potential for additional days subject to mutual
agreement)

Fee: £200 per day

This role is about supporting participants to feel confident, supported, and able to do their best creative work.

The Wellbeing Facilitator will:
lead short daily wellbeing check-ins
be available to talk with participants during the day
help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone on the course
support the course team with any other tasks related to participant wellbeing as required

We are looking for someone with experience supporting wellbeing and who is BSL Level 3 or a native BSL signer. As a deaf-led theatre company, we particularly encourage deaf and hard of hearing people to apply.
