We require a committed and experienced individual to join our creative team immediately on a self-employed basis, as a creative writing workshop facilitator.

This post offers someone who has an innovative approach to wellbeing activities, with excellent communication skills, a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team of like-minded individuals and educators within the organisation who are committed to improving the quality of life for ex-offenders and hard to reach individuals.

Also ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced instructor, this is a rare chance to harness the wonder and excitement of the creative arts and use it to enhance learning environments behind the walls of a large male prison in the South East.

Your role is to allow prisoners to transform their thoughts into written works that captivate, inspire and leave a lasting impact, whether through spoken word, lyrics or poetry. In addition to crafting engaging and imaginative narratives, mastering the art of storytelling and employing descriptive language that evokes emotions and sensory experiences.

Job Responsibilities

To be an imaginative and creative individual who is self-motivated with attention to detail and the ability and commitment to work within a small team or independently, in addition to the dedication, energy and resolve needed to make a significant difference to the lives of serving prisoners.

How to Apply

This is a freelance position on a part-time basis, working approx. 16 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £20.00 - £30.00 dependent on experience and equivalent to the listed Salary.
