Job Description
that engage and empower LGBTQIA+ young people. You will use your initiative and experience in youth
focused work to develop exciting, dynamic activities that respond to the needs, interests and voices of
young people, across a range of settings. Working closely with the Curious Arts team, freelance
practitioners and partners, you will help bring high-quality, impactful youth projects to life. The role will
involve daytime, evening and regular weekend working.Job Requirements
Minimum Level 2 Youth Work Qualification (or be
willing to work towards)
3-5 years' experience in delivering youth
programmes and/or working with young people.
Proven ability to devise, coordinate, and evaluate
creative projects with young people.
Understanding of the nuances of working closely
with young people from intersectional and
underrepresented communities.
Ability to support co-creation and leadership among
individuals excluded from mainstream arts.

Line management experience/experience in engaging freelance creatives.
Experience managing project budgets and delivering within resources.
Minimum Level 3 Safeguarding Qualification (or be willing to work towards)
Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and health and safety regulations.
Knowledge of youth networks and support services available.
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.Job Responsibilities

showcases, guest workshops and cultural visits.
Design, deliver and lead (or support) sessions
informed by the voices of young people.
Manage and deliver end of term showcases,
presentations and performances.
Recruit, train, manage and support session
leaders, ensuring safe, inclusive, and high-quality
delivery.
Manage programme budgets, ensuring spending
aligns with funding and delivering within
resources.
Take the lead on safeguarding measures, ensuring
reports are accurately maintained and all issues
are escalated to senior managers. Ensuring that all
activities comply with Curious Arts' policies and
procedures
Coordinate space booking, resources, and travel
arrangements to facilitate all aspects of the
programme.
Manage the youth programme's budget, tracking
all expenditure to ensure delivery within the
