Job Title: Duty Manager Responsible to: Programme Administrator and Head of Technical and Building Pay: Duty Managers: £14.30 Per Hour + Holiday / Bar Supervisors: £14.00 Per Hour + Holiday Hours: Minimum shift time is 4 hours, usually 6 hours. Minimum of 1 shift per month. Start Date: From W/C 27 January 2026 You will take an active role in managing the smooth day-to-day running of the venue and the front of house team during the events. You will work closely with the Programme Administrator in coordinating and implementing the set-up, pack down and running of events. Duty Managers will act as the lead point of contact for visiting companies and the public during events, ensuring the highest standards of customer care and a safe environment for staff, companies, young people and audiences are maintained at all times. Bar Supervisors have a responsibility to open the bars for events, manage the bar staff, keep track of stock and make sure that all bar operations run smoothly. Post holders must be resourceful, energetic self-starters who require little supervision, are innovative and can adapt to any situation, with exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to work mainly evenings and weekends as part of the role. Require Experience: Desirable Experience Duty Managers will be trained to do all positions, including Bar supervisors, VSAs and box office.
