Handmade in Britain | 15 - 20 hours/week | Flexible - Handmade in Britain is looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role supports marketing across social media, newsletters, and printed materials to promote our craft fairs, directory and marketplace
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Handmade in Britain team to plan, create, and deliver marketing campaigns
- Develop and schedule engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Assist in creating and sending regular email newsletters, including content planning and audience engagement
- Design print marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and event signage using Canva
- Help maintain consistent branding across all digital and print channels
What We're Looking For
- Marketing experience, ideally within the arts, events, or craft sectors
- Strong Canva skills to design professional marketing assets
- Good knowledge of social media management and email marketing tools
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, flexible environment
Role Details
- 15-20 hours per week, fully remote
- £14 per hour (with flexibility depending on experience)
- Flexible working hours, with some availability needed around event periods
