Description
The Wac Arts Schools and Communities team is looking for experienced workshop leaders to join their pool of Podcast Facilitators working across schools and community settings in Camden and the surrounding areas.
Pay: £45 per hour on a freelance basis
Hours: After School Projects - Minimum 1 hour per week, plus planning fee; Holiday Projects - Minimum 6 hours delivery
- You will plan and deliver dynamic workshops supporting young people KS2 and above to develop and record their own podcasts.
- Young people taking part in these workshops will learn how to structure a podcast, create engaging audio content and set up their own recording studio.
- Wac Arts provides select equipment for use in these sessions, including laptops, tabletop microphones and cameras. You will also receive support and guidance from the Schools and Communities team.
- Experience planning and delivering podcasting workshops and activities for young people ages 7 - 11 and/or 11 - 16 in schools and community settings.
- Strong understanding of technical requirements for successful producing audio content
- Confidence in planning and delivering accessible and inclusive sessions in non-mainstream settings.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Podcasting.
- Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
