Job Summary

Activity Stream is looking for a Project Manager & Onboarding Lead to support clients as we bring their customer and eCommerce data into our analytics & digital marketing platform for ticketed events.

Job Description

Salary: In the region of £36,000 depending on experience

Contract: Full time (40 hours per week), permanent contract with a minimum 3 days a week in our office at Edinburgh Futures Institute

Activity Stream provides software solutions for people who create great experiences; from gigs and festivals to arenas, theatres and sporting events around the world. We're a fast-growing and fully funded start-up with offices in the UK, Iceland, Denmark, Belgium and the United States.

We are on a mission to unlock the power of live entertainment data. Our solutions help event organisers, promoters, festivals, producers and sports teams find and build audiences, engage with ticket buyers and attendees, and grow them from one time attendees to lifetime fans.

We've created an engineering hub in Edinburgh and are seeking someone with a hands-on understanding of data and technology - ideally in the live entertainment industry - to work alongside the development team in our Edinburgh office.

Activity Stream is looking for a Project Manager and Onboarding Lead to support clients as we bring their ticketing, marketing, eCommerce and customer data into our platform and empower them to make data driven decisions, use timely insights to delight their customers and help solve their problems.

We are actively seeking to create a diverse work environment because teams are stronger with different perspectives and experiences. We value a diverse workplace and encourage women, people of colour, LGBTQIA individuals, and people with disabilities to apply.

With excellent organisational and time management skills - and the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively - your work will impact the experience of thousands of attendees from football matches and theatre performances up to some of the world's biggest sports stadia and arena gigs.

Job Requirements

  • Plan, execute, and manage onboarding projects from inception to completion
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams
  • Support clients in their ongoing use of our tools and platform, answering support tickets, checking data has ingested correctly against ticketing system reports
  • Help inform the development of the customer-facing and internal tools to facilitate smooth onboarding
  • Providing client support around technical and UI issues and questions
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns
  • Writing project plans, customer-facing support articles and internal documentation
  • Giving feedback for product improvements.

You have a passion for creating and improving processes, knowing that solutions sometimes need to be tested manually before they can be scaled.

Job Responsibilities

  • Love of live entertainment and the performing arts
  • Proven experience as a Product or Project Manager in a digital setting
  • Experience and interest in a client facing role
  • Experience working in or with live entertainment venues
  • Solid knowledge of ticketing systems (we're really looking for someone who is familiar with core concepts of ticketing)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (We use Asana, Hubspot, Slack, Github, Google Workspace)
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering projects on time
  • A friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to explain the system to clients of all levels of technical ability
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • PMP certification or similar project management certification is a plus.
