Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Projects and Events Coordinator to join our team. The Projects and Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning, promotion, implementation, and monitoring of various projects, events and productions.

Job Description

Salary: £22,800 per annum (0.6prorata)

Hours: This is a Part-time contract based on 21 hours per week (equivalent to 3 days a week.) Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Digital Hub, The Glassworks, Folkestone, CT20 1JG

Responsibilities include planning and executing events, coordinating project and event activities, and ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Projects, Events or Production Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some experience of Constant Contact, Buffer, JotForm, Canva.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop, monitor and execute detailed project and event plans and schedules.
  2. Ensure all administrative and logistics requirements of a project, event or production are fulfilled.
  3. Organise internal project/event/production and stakeholder meetings, coordinating and following up any tasks and actions that arise from meetings.
  4. Assess and identify project / event risks and provide solutions where appropriate.
  5. Ensure all technical requirements for a project/event/production are met.
  6. Monitor project and event sign-up and participant engagement and where necessary, identify and oversee actions to ensure participation targets are met.
  7. Work with the project delivery team to collect monitoring and post-event evaluation data, maintaining records to monitor the performance of projects/events/production.
  8. Create detailed event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
